Living in Geneva, Dr. Robert has been playing in various indie rock acts since 2006. While he continues to do so, he enjoys working alone on more “personal” stuff, the latest being a series of six songs called “A Stranger”, aiming for a more natural and honest feel. Having always loved multiple genres and types of music, Dr. Robert did feel a certain fascination for alt-country and americana acts such as Silver Jews, Wilco, Drive-By Truckers, Steve Earle, Bonnie “Prince” Billy, and many more for the past six months or so, wich has led to these songs, greatly influenced by the aformentioned artists.
